Ye has asserted that he and Bianca Censori “beat the Grammys,” pointing to the social media attention garnered by their red carpet appearance on Sunday.
In an Instagram update no longer active as of this writing, Ye wrote, “We beat the Grammys,” tagging Censori in the post. Elsewhere, he shared a screenshot of search-related stats showing millions of searches for Censori on music’s biggest night.
“My wife is the most Googled person on the planet called Earth,” Ye wrote in another post.
Later, Ye shared a product flat of what he called “the invisible dress.” Though not directly specified amid Ye’s batch of shared-and-deleted IG updates on Tuesday, this is, presumably at least, the dress worn by Censori on the Grammys red carpet on Sunday. According to Ye, “multiple fittings” were required to achieve the desired look, which used a “one-way stretch see-through nylon.”
While Ye wasn’t seen inside the 2025 Grammys main ceremony, he and Ty Dolla Sign’s Vultures 1 Hot 100 hit “Carnival,” also featuring Playboi Carti and Rich the Kid, was up for Best Rap Song. Kendrick Lamar ultimately won that category with “Not Like Us,” which swept all five of its nominated categories. That same night, Ye held his own event in Los Angeles during which his new interview with Justin LaBoy was previewed.
In the interview, as seen in clips shared by attendees, Ye gave his take on Kendrick and Drake’s headlines-dominating 2024 feud. As he sees it, Drake shouldn’t be counted out moving forward.
Ye, who in 2022 told Alex Jones “there’s a lot of things that I love about Hitler,” is set to release Bully, his first new solo album since Donda, this year.
