It’s back to Cousins Beach one more time. The Summer I Turned Pretty, the multigenerational drama and coming-of-age story focusing on Isabel “Belly” Conklin, will return for its third and final season on Wednesday, July 16 on Prime Video. While there’s nothing to celebrate about it being the end of the series, the good news is that there are more episodes in season 3 (11 in total) than there had been in seasons one and two. And now, with the final season premiering next month, Prime Video has released the official trailer. (Watch it, below.)

To recap, season two ended with Belly (Lola Tung) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) happily together as he cheered her on from the sidelines of her volleyball camp. Season 3 will pick up a couple years later, as Belly finishes up her junior year of college and is gearing up for another summer in Cousins. She’s still very much together with Jeremiah (as you’ll see from the teaser trailer below), and even if you’re not a committed Jelly fan, there’s no denying their swoon-worthy moments. However, things get majorly complicated when Conrad reenters the picture due to some unforeseen circumstances. And once again, Belly must look inward to decide which brother is the right man for her.

On June 11, we finally got the official trailer for the final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, and it’s loaded (Belly and Jeremiah are getting married, her mom doesn’t approve, etc.). Take a look, and then we’ll talk about it after the break:

For one, ‘Daylight’ from the album Lover and ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ from the album Red (Taylor’s Version) by Taylor Swift are featured in the trailer. Two, we still don’t know if the entire season is being released all at once, weekly, or in two batches (we will of course let you know when that’s announced). Three, there’s a memorial to mark Susannah’s passing, and it’s at the gathering after that Belly and Jeremiah let Laurel know they’re getting married. When Laurel doesn’t take well to it, it seems that’s when Belly starts to have doubts (understandably). She also still can’t get Conrad out of her mind, so the rest of the trailer plays out with Belly stuck in state of confusion about her love life (again, understandably). We also see Belly looking at her infinity necklace that Conrad had given her, and oof, what is a girl to do?

Obviously, we’ll be waiting with bated breath until July 16. Meanwhile, read on for everything else we know about the final season.
