Weedmaps—the 2008-launched tech company that works closely with the cannabis industry, from retailers to content creators—has teamed up with the sneaker customiser Ceeze for a shoe which pays tribute to the pioneers who fought for cannabis access, stitched with the milestones that shaped the movement.
Inspired by the greens of a cannabis plant (of course!), the Weedmaps x Ceeze ‘420’ 1s features green multi-tone denim, micro-suede overlays, and a cedar-toned canvas liner for a rich, textured feel.
Fire-orange contrast stitching adds a bold edge, while custom woven tongue labels and exclusive insoles reinforce the storytelling.
Hidden coordinates on select pairs mark the birthplace of San Francisco’s Cannabis Buyers Club, the first medical dispensary that helped push Prop 215 into law in 1996. The California cannabis warning symbol, introduced in 2018, is stamped on the heel—a nod to the industry’s evolution, which Weedmaps has played an integral part in.
Only 420 pairs of this drop were made, all of them sealed in a box that pays homage to the culture. Pre-orders open up on April 21 (here).
