Timothée Chalamet was decked out in custom Chrome Hearts when taking home his first Golden Globe on Sunday.
The actor, whose performance as the greatness-obsessed Marty Mauser in Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme is no doubt one of the best of the year, also wore Timberlands for the Nikki Glaser-hosted ceremony at the Beverly Hilton.
Chalamet’s win came in the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy category, a category he was previously nominated in with Wonka back in 2024. All told, Chalamet now has four total Globes nomination and one win to his name.
“I’m in a category with many greats,” Chalamet told a crowd of his peers when accepting the award on Sunday (Jan. 11). “This category is stacked. I look up to all of you.”
Chalamet went on to thank Safdie and others involved with the A24-backed film, ultimately making his way to a mention of a “spirit of gratitude” he said was instilled in him by his father.
“It’s allowed me to leave this ceremony in the past empty-handed, my head held high, grateful just to be here,” he added. “But I’d be lying if I didn’t say those moments didn’t make this moment that much sweeter.”
Chalamet’s custom Chrome Hearts look, which he wore for both the red carpet and the ceremony itself, was complemented by a Panthère de Cartier necklace in 18k white gold and an Urban Jürgensen UJ-2 watch. Completing the look were Timberland premium 6-inch boots in black with Chrome Hearts embellishments.
It’s all but guaranteed that Chalamet will land an Academy Award nomination for Marty Supreme when Oscar nods are announced later this month. He’s already a two-time nominee there, having previously scored Best Actor nods for Call Me By Your Name and the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown.
For the latter, Chalamet also stands to bag his first-ever Grammy when winners are announced next month.
