Teyana Taylor made a jaw-dropping surprise appearance during Vogue World 2025.
The 34-year-old walked on the runway for the Hollywood-themed fashion show on Sunday (Oct. 26) alongside Dana Gurira wearing the Dora Milaje red-and-silver costumes from Black Panther in a segment celebrating Afrofuturism and the work of Oscar-winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter, according to Vogue.
The event also featured another surprise appearance from Angela Bassett as she reprised her role as Queen Ramonda in Carter’s original purple gown from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Taylor’s appearance marked a return to the Vogue World stage after she walked the runway in a chainmail Rabanne look at last year’s event in Paris, France.
The singer and actress recently earned Oscar buzz after starring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another. She is also set to star in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming series All’s Fair.
Vogue World, now in its fourth year, featured performances by Doja Cat and Gracie Abrams and attendance from stars like Cynthia Erivo, Hailey Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Karol G, Ayo Edebiri, Dakota Johnson, and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Per People, 100% of ticket proceeds of the event benefit the Entertainment Community Fund with a focus on costume professionals affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.
