Founded by Jayden N. Lewis, XWORE has quickly become one of the buzziest new streetwear brands out of New York City. Its distressed tartan plaid zip hoodies, which fuse the classic pattern usually reserved for flannels with a streetwear edge, have become its signature offering. Its heavyweight waffle zips featuring a mixed camo pattern and jeans with a wavy side stripe also show off XWORE’s ability to make timeless pieces feel new.
As you may expect from the name, Colors focuses on the importance of color choice when it comes to clothing. From earthy tones like brown and olive green to warm hues like orange and yellow, there’s something here for everybody. Colors’ assortment of wardrobe staples runs the gamut from flared sweats to wool track jackets. It wouldn’t be hard to construct a closet filled with nothing but the brand’s offerings.
Launched by Yixi Chen in 2019, Chemist Creations is the nostalgic design offshoot of C2H4. The brand calls itself a “pop-culture time machine” distilling ’80s and ’90s Asian and American media into pared-down, wearable essentials with a playful edge. Sweaters, chinos, and accessories are reimagined with modern twist. They are all balanced by the formula of 70% essentialism, 30% fun.
