Neutral glam spotted on the likes of Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, and Zoe Saldaña prove that sometimes, less is more. But that’s not to say there’s no room for fun: June Squibb wore a siren red lip (at 95 years old, no less!) that proved the classic beauty look is truly timeless. Plus, Lupita Nyong’o, Margaret Qualley, and Mindy Kaling all found creative ways to incorporate a bunch of color.

When it comes to hair, updos reigned supreme with everyone from Elle Fanning to Marissa Bode wearing elegant buns. And of course, short hair continued to be on trend, with Gomez wearing an Old Hollywood bob, while Halle Berry looked stylish in a flippy style.
