Max B is booked and busy after his release from prison, and he’s making his return felt not just in music, but also in fashion.
SP5DER Worldwide has announced that the Harlem legend is the face of its 2025 Black Friday campaign, marking Max B’s first major fashion campaign since coming home after more than a decade away.
The campaign, shot earlier this month, centers on a selection of SP5DER staples that reflect both the brand’s signature style and Max B’s unmistakable New York swag. The drop includes updated colorways of three sweatsuits, a baby tee, and a matching beanie, all available now exclusively at kingspider.co.
SP5DER’s decision to tap Max B for this moment is intentional. The brand’s presence in New York has grown rapidly, and collaborating with one of Harlem’s most iconic voices serves as a statement: SP5DER understands the city, its culture, and its heroes.
To capture that energy, SP5DER enlisted renowned photographer Kenneth Cappello, whose background in skateboarding and punk culture brings an edge aligned with the brand’s aesthetic. Cappello tailed Max throughout NYC, from walking through Harlem to shutting down Emilio’s Ballato, documenting a day in the life of a rapper whose influence still reverberates across the city.
Founded in 2019 and rooted in the cultural bridge between Atlanta and Los Angeles, SP5DER has quickly built a name on bold design, immersive brand experiences, and a luxury-meets-punk visual identity. The label continues to spotlight Southern influence while expanding its reach into major cultural hubs like New York.
With Max B fronting the 2025 Black Friday campaign, SP5DER adds another chapter to its growing legacy and gives the Big Apple a long-awaited moment with one of its most beloved figures.
