Jacob & Co., G-Dragon Celebrate Boutique Opening With $1 …

South Korean rapper G-Dragon has launched his first timepiece collection in partnership with Jacob & Co.

With 28 baguette white diamonds and 48 multi-colored sapphires, the titanium timepiece reflects the artist’s colorful artistry and singular imagination. The dial model is the Astronomia Solar Baguette, of which Jacob & Co. and G-Dragon made a custom-made version using turquoise, the rapper’s favorite color. Highlights also include a rose gold dragon wrapped in a white spine, with a ring underneath that reads “The world is mine,” in dedication to G-Dragon’s message.

The timepieces 288-facets pulls from G-Dragon’s favored palette of orange, white, pink and green, while the caseback has engravings that read “Astronomia for G.D.” and “Ubermensch” the title of G-Dragon’s latest album. The watch retails for a whopping $1 million, but makes a timeless collectable to dedicated G-Dragon fans.
