Lil Yachty asked Gervonta Davis about his recent comments regarding a Chrome Hearts endorsement.

In early January, the boxer called out the brand on Instagram, writing, “@chromeheartsofficial I think it’s time for us to come to an agreement..Becuz my influence is crazy rn fam.”

Davis appeared on Yachty’s A Safe Place Podcast where he asked Davis if his comments spurred any conversation with Chrome Hearts. Davis then remarked that he’s started “seeing” how “people don’t give you credit,” saying this around the 34:10 mark.

When Yachty asked, “You think you was the first one in Chrome?” Tank responded, “No.”

“But you think that your influence definitely spiked the sales,” Lil Boat added.

“Come on,” Davis said, which made Yachty laugh. “I don’t wanna go crazy but for sure. People watching.”

Gervonta then expounded on what he wanted when he made that post, explaining that he’s looking for his own “line,” but that he went about it the “wrong” way.

“Let me do something with y’all. Let me make money with y’all type of thing. I think I really came out wrong by saying like they don’t show love and things like that, which they do but I take that back because I’m still spending my money,” he continued. “But let me make money with y’all. It’s not going to hurt y’all.”

He added, “A lot of people start wearing Chrome, bro. Stop it.” They both laughed. “Come on. Overly too. You know it.”

At that point, Yachty didn’t agree or disagree, instead just said, “Okay, okay.”

Davis certainly has an infatuation with the brand. He’s taken to his social media to flex the amount of gear he owns, including a recent viral picture that shows him sitting on a Chrome Hearts bean bag chair. He also previously donned $100,000 custom Chrome shoes and shorts in a match against Frank Martin, and has flaunted Chrome Hearts boxing gloves and a punching bag.
