The scope of streetwear is as wide as it’s ever been. On one side, you have established brands like Stüssy and Supreme that have been at the forefront for decades. On the other side, there is the promising crop of young, emerging brands that have captured the attention of the youth like Happy Memories Don’t Die and GV Gallery. Determining the best brand of the year is no easy task.
We provided our picks for the best streetwear brands of 2025 and Corteiz took the top spot. Kith and Supreme rounded out the podium. Everyone had a lot to say. After all, style is incredibly subjective. So, we decided to ask the Complex audience what their pick was for the best streetwear brand of 2025. The results are in.
Coming in 2nd place was GV Gallery with 11.4% of the vote. Happy Memories Don’t Die wasn’t far behind with 11.2% of the vote. KidSuper and Vale were among some of the other leading vote getters from the poll. But who was the winner? Coming in with 22.7% of the vote, Greedy Unit was the people’s choice for the best streetwear brand of 2025.
Founded by Dimelojc, the New York City-based label has been able to cultivate a loyal following in just a few years with its inventive approach to accessories like bottle tab belts and knit balaclavas. That unique approach has grown into apparel like carpenter pants with screw-shaped rivets and T-shirts with exposed tags popping out of the collar. Some of its other standout moments from 2025 included a campaign with Nike and a collaboration with fellow bubbling New York City-based label Taller de Rafa. Major co-signs have already come from stylish streamers like Kai Cenat and Brucedropemoff, and some of the best dressed rappers right now like Lil Yachty and Yeat.
