Camilla Araujo Drops $159,376 on AP Watch for Boyfriend O…

Camilla Araujo surprised boyfriend Owen Lynch with a $159,376 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Skeleton watch as a birthday gift during a visit to Timepiece Trading in Miami.

The moment was captured in a YouTube vlog posted by the watch dealer.

Lynch had already placed a $3,500 deposit on the same piece before Araujo intervened to cover the full cost.

“I told him I was going to pay for it anyway as his birthday present,” she said.

Araujo doesn’t own a watch herself.

“I don’t own a watch,” she said. “I put money in investments.”

The watch in question was a steel Royal Oak Double Balance Openworked Skeleton.

According to the dealer, it had been sold just days before.

“We just bought this on Friday,” one staff member said. “When we get them, they go right away.”

Though Lynch had put down a small deposit, the TPT team worked with Araujo to shift the remaining payment to her.

“He only paid $3,500 out of 160,” the dealer told her. “So you’re basically buying him the watch.”

Despite the high price tag, Araujo insisted it was the right move.

“I told him I was going to get it. I’ll pay you,” she said. “Then I’ll tell Owen Camilla took care of it.”

The staff offered her a pre-owned 2018 version of the same watch from their personal collection.

“It’s super mint,” one said. “I actually polished it and haven’t worn it since.”

Araujo accepted, noting she would wire the funds and pick it up privately.

“I’m going to go to the bank early in the morning,” she said.

The watch was handed to Araujo with its certificate and original box. “Mr. Lynch’s watch is ready,” a staffer confirmed. “It’s yours.”

When asked about his experience, Lynch joked about the store’s sales tactics.

“There’s no way you can go shopping with me cuz it’s not going to go well,” he said. “They looked up my wrist size before I got here.”

The final price was confirmed as $159,376.

Timepiece Trading said SteveWillDoIt remains their top client, with $18 million in purchases since 2021.
