Alex Moss is celebrating the opening of his first global flagship store in New York City.
The jeweler’s new brick-and-mortar location at 15 Mercer Street in SoHo officially opened on Sunday (September 14). To mark the occasion, Alex Moss hosted an in-store event featuring appearances from Bloody Osiris, Christian Combs, Bol Bol, Tyshawn Jones, Sheck Wes, and Don Toliver.
“Opening this flagship is not just about creating a space—it’s about creating a lifestyle,” Moss said in a press release. “It’s about pushing the boundaries of imagination, of design, of culture. This is only the beginning.”
Complex spoke with Moss at his new flagship earlier this week, as seen in the video below.
“This is like no other story you’ve ever seen, and the principle behind it is, it’s not just a jewelry store you’re coming into,” he said of the shop. “This is a whole experience when you come here. So the way that the store is designed, a little Easter egg, a little bit had to do with Alice in Wonderland. So it’s all types of different hidden rooms and they all have different themes and different vibes.”
He added: “I just feel like, you know, I reached a certain level at my brands, with the company, with what I was doing, and I felt like I needed to take it to a way, way, way bigger level, and I felt like the best way to do that was the SoHo flagship store as the first step.”
Back in April, Complex named Alex Moss No. 1 on our list of the Top 25 Celebrity Jewelers Right Now.
