When a Major League Baseball player gets dressed for a game, it’s not as simple as putting on the uniform. There are decisions to be made—about your cleats, socks, sleeves, gloves, elbow guard, shin protector, and even your pants. And while so many players keep things plain jane, every season a select few emerge who take things to another level stylistically.

But today, we’re going to focus on some of the new swerves we’ve seen this season. For a sport so steeped in tradition, it’s good and necessary to celebrate any form of creativity. (Big shoutout to Ernie Clement of the Toronto Blue Jays, who is using “Zombie” by The Cranberries as his walk-up song.) These are the 16 biggest style wins of the 2025 MLB season thus far.
