Reebok is collaborating with rapper and singer Tobe Nwigwe for a new apparel and footwear range dropping soon.
For Nwigwe’s inaugural project with the sportswear brand, the artist pays tribute to the days of him playing collegiate football. At the core of the collab is the Chukwu OTU sneaker, which is a reimagined version of the Preseason Turf Trainer. The model features a combination of textile, hairy suede, and nubuck leather and comes in predominantly green and black color schemes.
Aside from the sneakers, Nwigwe’s first Reebok collection also includes a lineup of football-themed apparel pieces, ranging from coaches jackets to jerseys and t-shirts.
“This is monumental—it’s my first time designing a shoe and an apparel capsule with a major brand, and I’m creating something that truly reflects my style, vision, and perspective,” Nwigwe said.
Nwigwe’s first Reebok collection releases on Feb. 21 exclusively at Reebok.com.
