The popular video game franchise Fortnite reportedly is planning to introduce a new feature where gamers can apply different sneakers to their characters.
News of the upcoming Fortnite feature was first leaked by @BRLeaks_ES and @ESFortniteBR on X today, revealing that a new sneakers-focused cosmetic tool is coming to the game soon. It’s worth mentioning that the image above is from a previous Jordan Brand x Fortnite event, and images of the feature have yet to be revealed.
The tweets shared by the leakers shows backend coding for the game that suggests that the feature will be available for select skins. This includes those that the gamers already own as well as skins they are looking to purchase.
Fortnite has worked with Nike and its subsidiary Jordan Brand in the past to bring their sneakers into the game. This includes Air Maxes and Air Jordans being featured in the game, as seen in the image above.
Despite the early leaks, release details for this Fortnite feature have yet to be announced.
