Patta x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Waves’ 2026 Release Date

It’s been nearly five years since the “Waves” Patta x Nike Air Max 1 collab last released, and now it appears that two more iterations of the project could be hitting retail.

Today, Patta co-founders Edson Sabajo and Guillaume “Gee” Schmidt each teased a new iteration of their “Waves” Air Max 1 sneaker on Instagram. Both styles feature similar orange, grey, and sail color schemes, but differ in their color blockings. The standout design element on Patta’s Air Max 1 collab is the wave-like overlay panel that surrounds the entirety of the mudguard. As seen in the images shared, the sneakers also come with additional shoelaces and charms.

As hinted at by Sabajo, the upcoming Patta x Nike Air Max 1 release could land on or around his birthday, which happens to be on February 29. Check back soon for official updates surrounding the release.

UPDATE (3/10): Following the release of the Orange/Hyper Crimson colorway earlier this month, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Waves” in the White/Hyper Crimson colorway is set to drop next week. The sneaker will release on Air Max Day, March 26, 2026, at pattaxnike.com, and in store at Patta’s Amsterdam, London, Milan, and Lagos locations.
