For sneaker fans, it’s always satisfying to receive a new pair of shoes for your birthday. That’s exactly what happened when Kai Cenat blessed fellow AMP streamer Duke Dennis for his 31st birthday with one of the rarest sneakers ever.
In the video below, Cenat appeared on Duke’s livestream last night to give him the unreleased “Freddy Krueger” Nike SB Dunk Lows to celebrate his birthday. Cenat said he purchased the size 13 shoe for $80,000 from an unnamed baseball player, and is only one of two size 13s ever made.
Complex reached out to the seller @bear_town_sneaks on Instagram, where they confirmed that this “Freddy Krueger” Dunk originally belonged to MLB legend Randy Johnson. The shoe bought by the online shop from Johnson in June 2024, and then sold to a sneaker collector. When the Bear Town Sneaks got word that Cenat was in search of a pair, they were able to reacquire the pair and get them into Cenat’s hands.
Duke had previously expressed his affinity for the “Freddy Krueger” Dunks on social media. In the clip below, Duke said he had no interest in buying the shoe, which resells for thousands on the secondary marketplace. A fan has also sent Duke “Freddy Krueger” Dunks in the past, albeit an inauthentic pair, that he keeps in his room.
