Jordan Brand has unveiled the latest version of its women’s-focused performance shoe, the Heir Series 2.
Michael Jordan’s namesake brand says it took learnings from the first Heir Series sneaker and improved upon them to better serve female hoopers. This version retains its low-cut mesh and leather upper but has several notable upgrades to the tooling, including a thicker Cushlon 3.0 midsole with Zoom Air at the forefoot and herringbone traction on the outsole. The sneaker also comes with a removable hair tie attached to the heel’s pull tab, which serves as a nod to the women’s game.
The brand also tapped five-time WNBA All-Star Napheesa Collier to star in the campaign for the Heir Series 2, as seen in the images here.
“With my footwork being an important part of my game, the Heir Series 2 is a performance shoe that provides the flexibility and stability for me to be a force on both ends of the floor,” Collier said. “Everyone who follows my game knows I was a fan of the Heir Series, but the innovation in the Heir Series 2 has exceeded my expectations.”
The Jordan Heir Series 2 releases on Feb. 20 at Jordan.com and at select retailers globally.
