A number of popular Air Jordan styles are slated to make their way back to retailers this year, including the “White Metallic” Jordan 5 later this spring.
Newly leaked images from @xcsnkr on Instagram show an early look at this year’s rerelease, which features “Nike Air” branding on the heel for the very first time. The sneaker retains its traditional white leather upper paired with a silver tongue, clear mesh on the sides, and “23” on the heel counter. The majority of the midsole is dressed in white with silver shark teeth at the midfoot, and an icy blue outsole.
The “White Metallic” Air Jordan 5 was first released in 2000 and was then retroed in 2015.
According to the account, this year’s Air Jordan 5 “White Metallic” retro will release on April 25, but official details have yet to be confirmed by Jordan Brand. Check back soon for updates.
