It appears that Jordan Brand is referencing the Los Angeles Lakers’ colors with an upcoming Air Jordan 4 colorway.
Official images of an unreleased purple and gold Air Jordan 4 have surfaced, albeit in grade-school sizing. The sneaker doesn’t appear to be officially tied to the Lakers franchise, but the style already has a “Lakeshow” nickname attached to it.
Jordan Brand has made several Lakers-themed Air Jordans in the past, with the most notable pairs being the two-shoe Jordan 3 and Jordan 8 pack commemorating Kobe Bryant wearing the models during his sneaker free agency during the 2002-03 season.
According to @zSneakerheadz on Instagram, this “Lakeshow” Jordan 4 will release in full-family sizing on March 7, 2026, with an early drop scheduled for the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend in February. Check back soon for official updates in the months ahead.
UPDATE (01/22): Official images of the “Lakeshow” Air Jordan 4 have loaded on the backend of Nike’s website. This Lakers-inspired colorway is slated to drop at the NBA All-Star Weekend in LA next month, with the wider release scheduled for March 7. Check back soon for updates.
