Ok yeah, Dubliner’s Honeycomb liqueur isn’t going to win an Esquire Spirit Award anytime soon. But if you want a whiskey base that’s made for mixing, holy shit nothing comes close.

If he’s not a spirits guy, it’s a sugary sweet entry into whiskey. If he likes to mix cocktails and has a respect for all the regular stuff, tell him this is the one he can play around with. It’s killer in any sort of punch, highball, or drink with fizz. For the holidays, mix it with ginger and lime, and you’ve got a no-hassle mule. I’m annoying and usually skip sugary drinks, but I will tell you that quick mule tastes fucking phenomenal.
