Accuracy: You want a scale that works. When it comes to smart scales, this includes ones that accurately read all the metrics they claim they do. A few inconsistencies here and there and a user will begin to distrust the product. Soon, they won’t be using it at all. Get the picture?
User Experience: Speaking of the user experience, the digital app side has to be pretty seamless too. We know you want to be able to step on the scale, get your readings done, and then pull out your phone to check the nitty, gritty metrics. Anything that puts a delay in that process is a black mark against any smart scale.
Third Party App Compatibility: Making sure your scale’s metrics can feed into whichever health tracking app you use is critical. All three of these scales are compatible with Apple Health and Google Fit, but only the Hume can connect to Samsung Health.
