Macy’s VIP Sale on Menswear and Cologne is Black Friday-Levels of Great

You know that thing when you hear there’s a “huge sale” but once you check, the discounts are only 10 percent off? This is not one of those times. Right now we’re in the midst of Macy’s VIP sale, a twice-yearly event that runs from March 19th through March 29th. And its deals on menswear isn’t just steep–it’s borderline unheard of outside of Black Friday.

If you’ve been sleeping on Macy’s since the early aughts, now’s your chance to get reacquainted. The retailer stocks some of our favorite brands–think Levi’s, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Calvin Klein. And since its less buzzy than other retailers, it don’t sell out quite as quickly. Right now, you can shop a gigantic array of products and pieces. The range of discount varies greatly: Colognes are 15 percent off, which is admittedly not great, but the sale includes some options that almost never go on sale, like Dior’s Sauvage cologne and Maison Margiela’s Replica scent.

But the best deals come in with the menswear section. Our favorite Levi jeans are 30 percent off, and some incredible T-shirts are half off. Maybe the best deal we spotted though is this Stuhrling diving watch that is a whopping 80 percent off, bringing the price down from $1,250 to just $287. And there’s a lot more where that came from.
