On tonight’s Oscars red carpet, Timothée Chalamet capped off his months-long sartorial blitz supporting his portrayal of Bob Dylan in James Mangold’s A Complete Unknown with a final heater of an ensemble.

After much speculation about what the best actor nominee might wear the 97th Academy Awards—would he keep it in the family with another Tom Ford kit designed by his pal Haider Ackermann, or try his hand at another cosplay look?—the 29-year-old landed on a custom Givenchy tuxedo designed by Alexander McQueen alum Sarah Burton. The look featured a leather double-breasted cropped jacket with a notch lapel, matching trousers, and a silk shirt, all in a springy shade of butter yellow.

“Timothée represents the youth and embodies the spirit of today,” Burton tells GQ in an email. “His incredible talent and fearless style has always been a great inspiration to me. I loved collaborating on this look together.”

While not overtly Dylanesque in its aesthetic, Chalamet’s look did honor Bob’s penchant for always making the boldest, least expected move. “Love that suit,” joked host Conan O’Brien in his opening monologue. “You will not get hit on your bike tonight.”

The actor’s marshmallow-Peep-hued ensemble is Burton’s first menswear look as head designer of Givenchy. Chalamet’s A Complete Unknown costar Elle Fanning is also wearing Burton’s Givenchy at the Oscars tonight, in a custom gown inspired by an archival 1952 look from Hubert de Givenchy’s first collection.

Previously, Chalamet wore a futuristic Givenchy look designed by the French house’s outgoing creative director, Matthew M. Williams, at the Paris premiere of Dune: Part Two, which is nominated for several Academy Awards tonight, including best picture.
