Future has now been given the formal title of Friend of the House by the folks at Louis Vuitton.
Monday (Dec. 15), the French luxury fashion house, which counts Future’s “Move That Dope” collaborator Pharrell Williams as its current Men’s Creative Director, announced the distinction while looking ahead toward an “inspiring and innovative journey” with the three-time Grammy winner.
“Future embodies the core values of Louis Vuitton, including creativity, artistry, and a pioneering spirit that resonates with international audiences,” a Louis Vuitton rep said in a statement shared with Complex. “His unique style and creative vision make him an invaluable addition to the Louis Vuitton family.”
At this year’s Met Gala, Future wore a custom Louis Vuitton grey quarter-zip ensemble designed by Pharrell, who also later invited the Atlanta-born star to the Men’s Spring/Summer 2026 show in Paris.
Future’s Friend of the House distinction, per a statement to Complex from house reps, “underscores Louis Vuitton’s unwavering dedication to recognizing and celebrating talent across cultural landscapes.” Women’s Wear Daily was first to report the news.
The move comes just days after Golden Globes-nominated One Battle After Another star Chase Infiniti was named Louis Vuitton’s latest House Ambassador.
In April, Future was recruited by Young Thug for “Money on Money,” a track that later appeared on the latter’s UY SCUTI album. More recently, he joined Travis Barker and Fuerza Regida, among others, for the second edition of Don’t Fall in Love Fest in San Bernardino. In case you missed it, here’s a look back at what all went down at the NOS Event Center in November.
