Arguably, it was Ooni who started this whole home pizza oven revolution. Or at least took credit for it and turned that into profit. The brand has been in the game for a while now, and it continues to innovate with pro-grade products at consumer-friendly prices. The latest flagship oven will let you churn out wood-fired pizzas at home in 60 seconds flat. This sucker gets up to 950 °F, and it’s got enough space to fit one large pie, or two personal ones. Your call, every time.

On its face, the Karu 2 Pro is a versatile wood (or charcoal) firing oven—use it to roast chicken, nobody’s telling you not to. But what truly elevates the versatility for us are the legs and handles. It makes it easy to get set up anywhere in your deck, balcony or yard that you have a stable surface. And if you have to move it, no biggie. It’s far from portable, but it’s not stuck in place either.

Unfortunately, some basics like a pizza peel attachment are sold separately. The most egregious of these omissions is the gas burning attachment, which probably should be included in the “Pro” oven package as it is.
