This Dyson vacuum deal is pretty epic and one of the lowest prices we’ve seen—it’s currently 40% off its original price. The V8 Absolute is very similar to the V7 Advanced, with the same size, charge, run time (40 minutes), amount of suction power, and touch-free dust-bin emptying. It’s only ever-so-slightly heavier (5.82 pounds versus 5.58 pounds), but its dust canister is larger, which means you’ll empty it less frequently. The main difference is in the number of accessories you’ll receive—a crevice tool for tight corners, and a head that lies flatter to the ground and sucks up more dust on hardwood floors, for instance.
“I think it’s pretty interchangeable with the Dyson V7. It’s more expensive, but it nets you more accessories, as well as a docking station that lets you charge it directly on the wall (I have one of these, and it’s a far more superior experience than having to plug and unplug your vacuum all the time),” says Glamour’s Griggs.
