Chrisnxtdoor is gearing up for the release of his new clothing collaboration with Vier, the innovative apparel brand whose homonymous founder started things up four years ago, following a career in basketball.

The collab between Vier and Chris’ NXT brand includes a hooded tracksuit, emblazoned with Chris and Vier’s respective logos, and arrives in three colorways: white, gray, and black.

The AMP member’s new collection with Vier is available for purchase here.

In anticipation of the drop, Chris chatted with Complex about his collab with Vier — whose founder, it turns out, he’s known since the latter was in middle school.

What was your relationship to Vier prior to this partnership?

Vier and I are both from Maryland, and oddly enough, I was his camp counselor. It’s important that we shine a light on the DMV area, a place that has a lot of talent, especially current upcoming talent like us, Nino Paid, Reggie from Clover, Cordae, and more.

What is the mission of your clothing brand?

Honestly, my business partner and I’s goal is really to make pieces that I would wear every day, the same way I do Supreme or Palace. This is the first collection that I’m putting out where I feel like that goal has been achieved. Shoutout to my team for helping me achieve this goal.

What does the future look like for your clothing brand?

This is the first release of my new vision for my brand. And I’m excited to show what comes next. We’ve been planning this for four months. After this, there will be more color ways, a Zumiez collection, I’m working on a skateboard, a new collab with Vame, a vinyl bundle for my upcoming project, and much more that I can’t talk about now. But it’s going to be really cool, can’t wait to share it with my supporters who have been very patient with me.
