And this morning, the growing excitement is set to skyrocket, because Adidas just unveiled 22 home kits for nearly all the countries that rep the Three Stripes. (Jamaica is the lone holdout, with its uniforms set to be revealed as part of a standalone collection in early 2026.) Some of those nations—Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and Japan chief among them—have already secured their spot in the field of 48 teams, while others are still clawing their way through qualifiers. Three of the teams (Chile, Peru, and Venezuela) have already been eliminated from the competition, but that didn’t stop Adidas from making them fresh kits.
As with all sports uniforms, there are hits, there are misses, and there are ones that put you to sleep. All of these jerseys might feature Adidas’s signature stripes along the shoulders, but not all of them are created equally, with some of the bigger nations receiving custom details and design flourishes not afforded to their smaller counterparts.
