If there’s one thing we know about Megan Stalter, it’s when she gets dressed for a red carpet, she get’s dressed on purpose. And for the Emmys 2025, Meg Stalter made the purpose behind her surprisingly low-key ensemble extremely clear.

While most of the stars on the Emmys red carpet (and any red carpet) dressed up in couture and high fashion, it doesn’t get much more laid back than Levis blue jeans and a Hanes white T-shirt, which is what Stalter wore. She accessorized with silver jewelry, pointed toe black flats, and sunglasses, over which she peeked coquettishly. A classic red lip and matching nails added a Cindy Crawford-esque touch to her look.

But the star of the Hacks and Too Much actor’s ensemble was her black bag, which featured a white label reading, “Cease fire!” in all caps. The message refers to the conflict in Palestine, and calls for an end to hostilities. “It’s the most important to stick up for people and for peace,” she told Variety on the red carpet. “We have to use our platforms. What’s the point of being at these big events if you’re not going to use your privilege?”
