There are very few sneakers in Adidas’ lineage that are as important to the brand as the Superstar, so for its latest campaign, the sportswear giant brought together its deep roster of endorsers to celebrate the legacy of the sneaker.

The new “Superstar, The Original” campaign launched across Adidas’ social media channels today, which is narrated by the legendary actor Samuel L. Jackson. The campaign highlights the longstanding cultural impact of the Superstar and features top Adidas collaborators from the past to the present, appearing throughout.

The video is set against a black and white backdrop and has a superstar cast that includes Anthony Edwards, Missy Elliott, Mark Gonzales, GloRilla, Teezo Touchdown, Gabbriette, and Blackpink’s Jennie.

“The Superstar has always been more than just a sneaker—it’s a symbol of originality and a spark for cultural change,” Annie Barrett, Adidas Originals’ VP of marketing, said. “From street corners to global stages, it’s been worn by those who don’t wait for permission to lead. This campaign isn’t about looking back—it’s about spotlighting a new generation of Originals who are building what’s next, unapologetically.”
