The Best 4th of July Clothing Sales of 2025 Just Dropped Early

Depending on your sense of national pride, the 4th of July can be a lot, and not always in a good way. The 4th of July clothing sales, though? Those, my fellow flustered Americans, are consistently cause for celebration. Sure, personal feelings on the holiday may vary, but the menswear deals it engenders every summer are a fairly sure-fire delight. And ahead of the formal celebrations this weekend, they’re already out in full force.

Just in the nick of time, too. Whatever grace the weather was displaying over the first half of June has officially given way to typical summer drudgery—it’s hot, it’s humid, and we’re sick of hearing people complain about it. So, uh, don’t. Instead, turn your attention to all the swelter-weather gear available for a pittance right now, courtesy of the trusty mall-brand mainstays, the bleeding-edge independents, and the multi-brand e-comm behemoths otherwise loath to discount their wares. What’s a holiday weekend without a massive Abercrombie sale? Sure, going “outside” is becoming increasingly fraught, but that doesn’t change REI’s ability to prepare you for it—and when they’ve put thousands (literally over 7,000) products on sale, that ability increases exponentially, which they have through July 7. So if you’ve got a camping trip, a hike you’ve been putting off or just need some gear, now is the time to stock up.

One of the premier names in tees, sweats and anything else jersey-knit recently kicked off their Midsummer Sale, which will let you take up to 50% off both perennial all-stars and seasonal favorites through July 6.

SSENSE isn’t necessarily celebrating the 4th, but that doesn’t mean their sale isn’t very much active and thriving over the weekend, with discounts pushing that 70% range. If you’ve been on the fence about something and it’s still around, you might not get another crack at it.
