Summer’s biggest jewelry trends lean nautical, much like the larger fashion landscape right now. Our editors have been analyzing runway looks and scouring street style for fresh inspiration, and we’re coming up with enough shells, pearls, and chunky beads to make us want to pack up and move to Cape Cod. But that’s not the only story: Anklets and mixed metals are also staging major comebacks (and delivering some much-needed personality) this season. Below, our editors share their favorite summer 2025 jewelry trends—plus how to style them.

Glamour’s summer 2025 jewelry trends wish list

1. Nautical jewelry

Chloé, Zimmermann, Dries Van Noten—so many of our favorite labels of the moment showed oceanic accessories for summer, and we couldn’t be more into it. Motifs include shells, suns, fish, and anything else that suggests the beach. Whether you’re in the market for effortlessly cool drop earrings, colorful bracelets, or a drop necklace to pair with your favorite swimsuit, these picks will keep you right on trend. Try pairing them with a simple black dress for a dinner date or a loose button-down and board shorts on vacation.

2. Beachy anklets

Although anklets dominated the ’90s and early aughts, they didn’t get swept up in the waning Y2K revival. We prefer it that way, though—now, they have all the more room to shine. Gigi Hadid just styled one with flip-flops, while we’ve been noticing a huge uptick in the pieces on social media and out in the world. Go understated with a simple gold or silver chain, or draw a little more attention to your ankles (and your choice of shoes) with pearls, charms, or gemstones. Might we suggest jelly sandals, another throwback having a banner year?

3. Baroque pearls

In keeping with summer’s maritime theme, pearls are on the up and up—but with a twist. After making a splash at Bottega Veneta’s summer show, baroque pearls (the large, irregular kind that are nothing like your mother’s pearls) have been popping up everywhere from J.Crew to Kate Spade. They’re relaxed, eye-catching, and undeniably chic, especially styled with pared-down staples like white tees and straight jeans.

4. Mixed metals

While conventional wisdom holds that you should stick to gold or silver only, we’ve noticed a huge uptick in stylish women bucking the rule. And trust us: It’s way more fun on the other side. Most of the finds below incorporate the two tones roughly evenly, but there’s no need to stick to a fair split; use these picks as your anchors, then add whatever other jewelry fits the vibe, whether that’s a spray of silver rings with a white dress or a dainty gold chain over a tank top.

5. Chunky boho pieces

Chunky jewelry and bohemian style are only growing in popularity, so it was only a matter of time until they met. But the result, as seen on Ralph Lauren’s summer runway, is even better than we could have hoped. On the necklace front, oversized wood and resin beads turn earth tones into a statement, while candy-colored stones provide a pop to understated looks. Meanwhile, stacked cuff bracelets are all you need to punch up a summer dress. Don’t be afraid to wear them together, by the way—more is more when you’re going big this season.
