Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner Are Carrying the Same Tiny Bag With a Hefty Price Tag

Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner often wear the same things in different fonts, but they’re currently carrying the same little black bag with a not-so-little price tag.

Glamour previously noted that Bieber and Jenner were fans of The Row’s silk Cecily tote while discussing their varied takes on this summer’s most divisive trend, but it bears repeating after emotionally recovering from the inescapable resurgence of capri pants.

On June 21, Bieber took the $1,250 bag from day to night by trading her polka dot capris and thong kitten heels for a green tube dress and peep-toed heels.

Just a few days later, Jenner stepped out in Paris wearing a very French version of Bieber’s first look, pairing her Cecily tote with black capris and an elegant white silk blouse, finishing off the look with open-toed sandals and an obligatory pair of skinny sunglasses.

By the way, the word “tote” seemingly refers to the open nature of the square handle bag as opposed to its size, which doesn’t look like it can tote around much more than a lipstick, small wallet, and possibly a phone at 8.66 x 1.18 x 7 inches.

If that still sounds too ludicrously capacious for you, don’t worry. The Row offers an even smaller version of the bag for $990, though it’s currently sold out on the luxury brand’s website.

Bieber and Jenner’s version is also sold out in black and brown on The Row’s website, but there are a still small number available on Net-a-Porter.com. While $1,250 might not cause a dent in either of these models’ finances, it’s not an insignificant amount of money for a few panels of silk that have been sewn together. Just something to take into account before you sacrifice this month’s Roth IRA contribution.
