Latto Wears an Ultra Rare Cartier Watch in ‘Somebody’ Vid…

Latto is rocking an ultra-rare Cartier Crash Watch in her new “Somebody” music video.

The rapper’s new visual shows her having the time of her life in Jamaica with the rose gold, diamond limited edition Crash watch on her wrist. Directed by her sister, Brooklyn Nikole, the video also features a cameo from popular Jamaican DJ Popcaan.

“Somebody” is Latto’s first solo release since she released her latest album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea, in 2024. The track is built around an interpolation of Aaliyah’s “Are You That Somebody?” and features her rapping, “I really need somebody/Tell me you’re that somebody.”

Latto recently shut down rumors that she was pregnant after she flexed an iced-out Cartier bracelet that she received on Mother’s Day.

The rapper hopped on Instagram while doing her hair and responded to the rumor, saying, “Do it look like I got motherfucking kids?” After saying that her menstrual cycle was about to come, she speculated that fans thought she was gearing up to have a baby because “I’m dragging that motherfucking wagon.”

Earlier this year, Latto told Complex about how she connected with Playboi Carti for the remix of “Blick Sum.”

“[Playboi Carti] and I record at the same studio, so he was like ‘I want to meet you,’” Latto explained. “When we met, I was like ‘I got a song for you.’ And I played him ‘Blick Sum,’ and he was like, ‘Hell yeah.’ I took my second verse off so quick.”
