ASAP Rocky Says Grandmother Wanted to Meet Colman Domingo…

It wasn’t a Met Gala after-party without ASAP Rocky’s grandmother, Cathy, showing up.

Following the 2025 Met Gala, Rocky and Met Gala co-chair, Anna Wintour, were guests on the Wednesday episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers. They discussed best looks from the night, and around the 10-minute mark of the video below, Rocky shared how his grandmother was “ambitious” about attending his after-party to meet her “husband,” Colman Domingo.

Domingo was also a co-chair for the event along with Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, and LeBron James.

“She didn’t get to meet him, unfortunately,” Rocky said, before Wintour added, “We can arrange that.”

The Sing Sing actor, however, is already taken by his husband of 11 years, Raúl Domingo. But Rocky already knew about his grandmother’s affinity for Domingo, which he told Teyana Taylor and Ego Nwodim on the blue carpet Monday night.

“Yo, I feel some type of way about that! He stole my whole grandmother,” Rocky said about the actor. “Like, she’s in love with him. She told me, she was like, ‘Look, that’s my boy, I don’t care if he’s married. I’mma take him from his husband.'”
