Bad Bunny debuted his second Adidas BadBo 1.0 colorway during his Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show yesterday.
Dubbed “Resilience,” Adidas says this latest iteration of Bad Bunny’s signature shoe is designed to serve as a blank canvas for individuals who are looking to “define themselves on their own terms.”
The silhouette itself features a mid-top upper that’s constructed of leather and hairy suede overlay panels. The majority of the latest colorway dons an all-white color scheme, offset by blue hits on the tongue, shoelaces, and the star on the heel, which serves as a nod to Puerto Rico. Printed on the insoles is the “Adidas Para Bad Bunny” branding.
Bad Bunny wore this sneaker during his cameo-filled performance at Super Bowl 60 yesterday, which featured guest features from Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin. The Puerto Rican artist wore an all-white ensemble with a No. 64 jersey honoring his late uncle, along with the “Resilience” BadBo 1.0 on-foot.
The first Adidas Badbo 1.0 colorway was released around this time last week. That iteration was dressed in a white and brown makeup and was limited to only 1,994 pairs.
At the time of writing, the “Resilience” BadBo 1.0 has sold out on Complex, Badbunnyadidas.com, and Adidas.com/badbunny. On StockX, the sneaker has been reselling for around $271 over the last three months, over $100 higher than the $160 retail price.
