Ah, early summer at Wimbledon. Can’t you just smell the aroma of freshly mowed grass and yellow-felted rubber in the air? Well, maybe not, unless you happened to be a tennis fan within spitting distance of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London over the past two weeks—a group that, thankfully, included many well-heeled celebrities, who more or less tended to abide by the tournament’s preppy suit-and-tie dress code.

At Wimbledon 2025, which wrapped yesterday, the Royal Box was particularly star-studded: Olivia Rodrigo and her English beau, Louis Partridge, sported hers-and-his Ralph Lauren, as did Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. The newly anointed Sir David Beckham wore a nice tan suit with a diamond-wrapped Tudor watch. (Beckham could also be seen with some bandages on his right arm and ring finger, which is apparently because he underwent a minor surgery last month. But worry not: “It’s all good,” he said in a recent interview.) Hell, even Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl dry-cleaned his suit for the festivities.

Plus, the tennis pros also got in on the fashion action—ahead of his early exit from the tournament, Italian player Lorenzo Musetti announced his new Bottega Veneta ambassadorship by strolling onto the grass courts in a tennis-white, intrecciato-woven leather bomber jacket for his first-round matchup. Where one door closes, another checkbook opens.
